STAGE 01/05Welcome
"Are people being seen, known, and intentionally followed up with?"
Guest Experience. Measures hospitality, follow-up, and first steps — whether the people God sends you are noticed, welcomed, and actually followed up with.
SIGN INEvery person moves through a spiritual journey — from being welcomed, to finding belonging, growing as a disciple, serving with purpose, living generously, and helping others follow Jesus. This assessment identifies where that journey may be breaking down, what may be limiting Kingdom impact, and where your leaders should focus next.
DIAGNOSTIC · V1Church health is not ultimately about bigger attendance, stronger systems, or larger budgets. It is about forming disciples, strengthening leaders, serving communities, and advancing the Kingdom of God.
Systems matter because people matter. Healthy structure creates greater capacity for discipleship, leadership, care, mission, and sustainable Kingdom growth.
A report card can't form a disciple. A dozen numbers, all shouting at once, still leave you guessing what to strengthen first — and chasing the lowest score can pour a year into a symptom.
People do not always move through church life in exactly the same order, but healthy churches consistently help people move from encounter to belonging, formation, contribution, and multiplication. When one stage is weak, progress elsewhere becomes harder to sustain. So the assessment walks that journey in order and looks for the earliest significant gap. Other concerns may still matter, but that earliest gap often explains why later stages are struggling.
Strengthen the gap at 02, and the "problems" at 03–05 often begin resolving on their own.
A low giving number usually isn't a giving problem. It's often the last echo of a gap higher up the journey.
We help you find the gap — so you stop treating the echo.
A quick overview — size, staff, budget, context. It sets the benchmark every score is measured against, so a 600-person church is never measured against a megachurch. You're compared to churches like yours.
Five stages — Welcome → Belong → Become → Build → Multiply, the journey a person actually takes — and three enablers: what the organization does to make that journey work.
STAGE 01/05"Are people being seen, known, and intentionally followed up with?"
Guest Experience. Measures hospitality, follow-up, and first steps — whether the people God sends you are noticed, welcomed, and actually followed up with.
STAGE 02/05"Are people moving from attendance into genuine biblical community?"
Community & Connection. Measures connection, relationships, groups, assimilation, and care — and finds the quiet edge of people no one would notice leaving, before they do.
STAGE 03/05"Are people merely attending — or becoming mature disciples who can help others follow Jesus?"
Discipleship & Leadership Development. Measures spiritual formation, biblical growth, discipleship clarity, and next steps — whether you have a real pathway to maturity and multiplication, not just participation in programs.
STAGE 04/05"A serving culture — or a handful of heroes about to burn out?"
Serving, Calling & Leadership. Measures serving, calling, volunteer health, leadership development, and ownership — whether people are equipped to use their gifts, receive care, and grow into greater Kingdom responsibility.
STAGE 05/05"Is generosity being formed as a spiritual discipline and an expression of Kingdom trust?"
Generosity & Multiplication. Measures generosity, evangelism, community impact, mission, and disciple-making — and whether weak giving is signalling a deeper break in belonging, formation, leadership, or vision.
"Does your leadership structure create clarity, trust, accountability, and faithful stewardship?" Healthy governance protects the mission, strengthens leadership trust, and helps Kingdom priorities endure beyond personalities and seasons.
"Can people clearly understand the vision, their next step, and how to participate?" Healthy communication turns vision into shared ownership, and helps people move toward belonging, discipleship, serving, and mission.
"Will your systems survive the growth you're praying for?" Systems are not the mission — but weak systems can limit the mission. Measures whether your structure supports people, protects leaders, and creates capacity for sustainable Kingdom growth.
We believe spiritual discernment and measurable evidence should work together. Every question is anchored to observable behaviors, ownership, and outcomes — a real percentage, a real practice, a real "who owns this." Leaders locate their church on a defined 1-to-10 scale rather than rating a feeling, which helps them move beyond assumptions without removing prayer, wisdom, or pastoral context.
The finding, the scores, and the primary constraint are calculated the same way every time, straight from your answers. AI only helps the report read well — it never decides your diagnosis. Turn it off entirely and you get the identical finding, in rougher words.
Scores are benchmarked against churches your size — so a 600-person church isn't measured against a megachurch, and a church plant isn't graded like an institution.
If the journey is healthy, it says so plainly and moves to a capacity conversation instead of inventing a problem to sell you. An assessment that can say "you're fine" is one you can trust when it says "you're not."

Jesus taught that a tree is recognized by its fruit. The early Church devoted itself to teaching, fellowship, prayer, generosity, care, witness, and the multiplication of disciples.
The XPG Church Health Assessment examines the ministry systems and leadership practices that either support — or restrict — that fruit.
Matthew 7:17–20 · Matthew 28:19–20 · Acts 2:42–47 · Ephesians 4:11–16 · 2 Timothy 2:2
Four things this report does that others won't. Every one is a real, built feature — not a slide.
"You rated your guest experience a 7 — but you can't see your return rate, and attendance is flat." Belief sits here; the evidence sits there.
Knowing what to leave for later is half the diagnosis. The report names the areas that sit downstream of the real gap — and tells you, explicitly, not to spend a year on them. Time and energy returned to the mission is the benefit leaders feel most.
"Your giving isn't your problem. It's your symptom."
When a leader wants a giving campaign but the real gap is upstream, the report says so — and warns that a campaign into a belonging gap raises money once and changes nothing.
When two leaders answer the same area and diverge past a set margin, that disagreement becomes a finding in itself — often more actionable than the score.
When a broken enabler — like governance — would keep any fix from holding, the report attaches it to your next step: "Before this can stick, start here."
Plain answers to the questions church leaders actually ask.
A guided diagnostic for church leaders. You answer evidence-anchored questions across eight areas of ministry — five that make up the discipleship journey itself, Welcome through Multiply, and three that hold it up: governance, communication, and systems. Instead of handing back eight scores, it walks the five stages in order, finds the earliest meaningful gap, and checks whether one of the three foundations is quietly capping it. You get one clear finding, the evidence behind it, and a single next step.
Because eight numbers, all shouting at once, don't tell you where to start. Each stage strengthens the next, so the assessment walks the journey in order and names the earliest real gap. The later ones may still matter — but they are often struggling because of that first one, which makes fixing them first effort you spend twice. Start where the journey first gives way, and the stages after it get easier.
You can answer all eight areas yourself, or invite other leaders to answer alongside you. An invitation arrives as a private email link; they sign in with it, answer the same eight areas, and that is the whole ask. Invited members never see the results — no scores, no findings — so nobody answers with one eye on how it will look. And where two leaders read the same area differently, that disagreement is not averaged away; it becomes a finding of its own.
Less than you'd think. Every score, the primary finding, and your next step are calculated the same way every time, straight from your answers — the AI never touches them. Its only job is wording: once the numbers are in, it writes them up in plain prose, and every sentence is checked against the real numbers five separate ways before it reaches you. Any sentence that drifts from the data is thrown out and the plain version is used instead — so if the AI is ever unavailable, the report is still complete and reads fine without it. The AI never decides what is true about your church.
Only your admins and co-admins — enforced in the database itself, not by a settings toggle someone can flip. Everyone else you invite can answer, but the results page is simply not theirs to open. When you do want to share, you choose how: download the full diagnosis as a clean PDF for your elders, or mint a private link for a board member with no account — and switch that link off the moment you are done with it.
Then it says so, plainly. If no stage of the journey is breaking, the assessment will not manufacture a problem to justify itself — it moves to a capacity conversation instead: not what is broken, but how much your current structure can carry before it strains. An assessment willing to tell you that you are healthy is the only kind you can believe when it tells you that you are not.
